Terms and Conditions

1. Free Measure & Quote

Our measuring and quoting service is free of charge and comes with no obligation. Please note that we do not share any of our own measurements when providing this service.


2. Custom Orders & Deposits

  • Non-Refundable Custom Orders: All custom-made orders are non-refundable once manufacturing or ordering has commenced. Custom items are specifically made to your specifications and typically cannot be resold.

  • 50% Deposit: A 50% deposit is required for all custom orders. Please be aware that this deposit is non-refundable once production or ordering has begun.


3. Fabric Orders – No Change of Mind

  • Once fabric has been cut, no returns will be accepted. We recommend you thoroughly check the fabric type, colour, quantity, and any potential defects before cutting.

  • No claims or returns will be accepted after the fabric has been cut or 14 days after delivery.

  • Fabric will be replaced and/or refunded only if found to be faulty or not as described. There are no refunds on fabric for change of mind.

4. Spare Parts Returns

We accept returns for spare parts under the following conditions:

  • The buyer is responsible for return postage to Decorama.

  • A refund will be issued once we receive the returned goods and confirm they are in the same condition as when originally sent. We understand the original packaging may be opened.

  • Postage is non-refundable; only the product price paid at the time of purchase will be refunded.


5. Out-of-Stock / Backordered Items

  • Delays: Some items may be out of stock or backordered due to factors beyond our control. We will do our best to notify you of any delays as soon as possible.

  • Delivery Estimates: Delivery times are estimates based on normal production and shipping schedules. These estimates exclude weekends, public holidays, and holiday closures. Delivery times may vary depending on the product and are calculated from the date we receive your deposit or payment.

  • Delays Due to External Factors: Occasionally, delays can occur due to out-of-stock items, inventory checks, production overload, or other unforeseen issues. Decorama is not responsible for delays caused by issues beyond our reasonable control.

Out-of-Stock Fabrics:
If a fabric you’ve ordered is out of stock, you have the following options:

  • Wait for restock: We can notify you when the fabric becomes available again.

  • Full refund: We can process an immediate refund.

  • Alternative fabric: Contact us for suggestions on similar fabrics.


6. Product Inspection Upon Delivery

  • Immediate Inspection: Please inspect all items immediately upon receipt. Any damage or missing parts must be reported to Decorama within 14 days.

  • Fabric Inspection: Fabric should be inspected prior to cutting for correct type, colour, length, and any defects. No claims will be accepted after fabric has been cut.


7. Hardware and Screws

  • Included Hardware: All necessary hardware is included with your order, with the possible exception of screws. The types of screws needed depend on the surface you are fixing the treatment to (e.g., wood, drywall, concrete, or metal).

  • Screw Guidelines:

    • Internal wood fixing: 25mm x 6g screws

    • External wood fixing: 40mm x 10g screws

    You will typically need 2 screws per bracket and 2–3 brackets per treatment.

  • If screws are not included, you will need to purchase them separately.
