frequently asked questions
Have questions? We’re here to help
What’s the difference between single and double tracks?
Single tracks hold one set of curtains, usually blockout or sheer.
Double tracks allow you to layer curtains (e.g., blockout + sheer) for better light control, privacy, and styling.
Do you sell curtain rods for eyelets?
We specialise in curtain tracks, not rods. Tracks give a cleaner, more modern look and offer smoother gliding and better functionality.
What is the difference between S-fold and wavefold?
S-fold curtains use press stud buttons that clip directly into the track. If a stud breaks or stretches it may need replacing and can become quite complicated. Wavefold curtains look similar to S-folds but are made using hooks instead of buttons. Hooks are generally more reliable and cause fewer issues over time. They still create a smooth, even wave-shaped curtain.
They work perfectly on most designer and standard tracks.
Wavefold is the preferred option for many installers because hooks are easier to adjust, replace, and maintain.
Can all tracks be bent?
Not all tracks can be curved. Some standard tracks and certain designer tracks can be bent for bays or corners. We can advise which option suits your space.
How long do curtain tracks last?
With proper installation and use, a good-quality track can last 10–20 years or more. Designer and commercial tracks often last even longer.
Can you install the tracks for me?
Yes — we offer full measure, supply and installation services within Tamworth NSW and surrounds. Our experienced installers ensure your tracks glide smoothly and are fitted safely and neatly.
How do I know which track is right for my home?
Tell us your curtain style, fabric weight, and room layout — our team will guide you to the best option, whether that’s a simple standard track, a designer profile, a double system, or a motorised option.
Many people opt for different options eg A ceiling mounted designer mini in the bedroom but a wall mounted designer 25mm track in the living, for a different feature.
How long does it take to get my tracks installed?
Lead times can vary, but most standard and designer tracks are ready within 3 weeks, with installation scheduled as soon as they arrive. If you have curtains, please allow 4-6 weeks in total, it takes a little bit longer to manufacture the curtains. Motorised or custom-bent tracks may require a little extra time.
Where are your curtain tracks made?
Our curtain tracks are proudly manufactured in Australia, with most actually being manufactured right here in Tamworth. The exception being some tracks, if the bending is outside what we can do locally. We work with trusted Australian suppliers so you get reliable products that are built for local conditions.
