What is online security-
When you place orders we take all due care to maintain your privacy. We cannot
however take responsibility for the information you input, before it is sent to
us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against
unauthorized access. If you would prefer not to place your order online you may
either place it as a mail-in or fax order. Alternatively, you may place your
order over the telephone by simply calling 1300 565 414.
Since all window treatments from Decorama are custom made
to your specifications, all orders are paid for when your order is placed. Visa
and MasterCard are accepted online. Cashier's checks, personal checks and
money orders must be mailed to our office before your order is started. All orders paid by
check will require a holding period of 5-7 days for your check to clear before order will
be put into production.
Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
Because our products are custom made to your exact specifications,
they are not suitable for resale in the ordinary course of business. Therefore, it
is important that you are sure of your purchase decisions prior to finalizing your order.
We place your order with the manufacturer and automatically charge your credit card for
the total sale price, including shipping, immediately after you complete your online
order. Unless there is a delay in placing your order because we need additional
information from you, an order received from you for in stock materials before 4 P.M.
Eastern Standard Time will normally begin production, or the order is placed on
our supplies the morning of the next
Once the process of cutting, shaping or manufacturing your order has
commenced, cancellation of your order is not possible.
All cancellations and changes to orders will be subject to a manufacturers restocking charge, where applicable, and a
Decorama 10% administrative charge. In the event that you cancel your order
within 24 hour of ordering , Decorama will refund your money minus the manufacturer's
restocking charge, where applicable, and the Decorama 10% administative charge. Costs such as freight and insurance etc that have already been supplied are not refundable.
Under no circumstance will Decorama either refund any money or issue any credits for
orders if the cancellation or change occurs at any time beyond this 24 hour period.
Return of Goods to Decorama
Goods returned to Decorama for repair / replacement or refund need to be returned to Decorama in a saleable quality. We suggest that you keep your original packaging until you are happy with your product as the goods are to be returned in the same or equivalent packaging as you received them. Returned goods damaged by the customer, or damaged in transit due to incorrect packaging, will not be accepted by Decorama as a SALEABLE QUALITY RETURNED ITEM.
Discontinued and/or Backordered
Decorama has no control over products that are
discontinued or placed on backorder from the manufacturers. Decorama will make
every effort to remove discontinued items as soon as we are made aware of it and will
notify you whenever we receive notice of any backorders. Also see "Delivery
Times" noted below.
Shipping Methods & Charges:-
For the fastest service possible, we ship most products directly FOB from the
manufacturing facility located closest to you via Australia Post Parcel Service (APPS).
If your package is too large to ship by APPS, we will ship it FOB the manufacturers
facility via freight carrier, usually to your front door. If there is no
one at the delivery address or no one of appropriate age to receive and pay for
the order, Decorama may charge you additional delivery fees.
Multiple Shipments - Different types of window
treatments are often made in different manufacturing facilities. For the fastest
delivery, we ship each product to you as soon as it is ready. That way, you'll have
your order as soon as possible!
Delivery Times- Delivery times given are
estimates based on normal production and shipping times. Delivery times
may vary depending on the product. Therefore, please email for specific delivery times. The estimated
delivery times include working days after our receipt of your completed order
and exclude weekends, holidays and factory closing days. On occasions,
there may also be delays caused by out-of-stock merchandise, inventory-taking,
temporary factory overload, or other unforeseen problems. Decorama cannot be responsible for shipping delays caused by problems which are
beyond its reasonable control.
Inspection of merchandise- IMPORTANT: You should inspect the merchandise as soon as you
receive it and notify Decorama immediately of any damage or missing parts. Fabric should be examined prior to cutting for the correct fabric, colour, any defects and meterage as no claim can be entertained afterwards.
Transport Insurance - Decorama is not responsible for transport damage and should be
covered by either your own insurance or by the optional
Damage Insurance. Decorama Transport Damage Insurance is highly recommended.
You should notify Decorama within 48 hours of receipt of any damaged merchandise
and lodge a claim within 7 days of the date that the merchandise is delivered to you.
Express Warranties- Express Warranties with respect to the blinds/shades you are
purchasing from Decorama are provided to you directly by the manufacturer
of these products and are incorporated into your order. To read the warranty

ITSELF DISCLAIMS ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY AND/OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH REGARD TO THE GOODS YOU ARE PURCHASING.
Dispute Resolution- If we cannot resolve a dispute regarding the application of
Decorama Ordering, Shipping and/or Measuring Policies to your order, the
dispute will be settled by one arbitrator in binding arbitration pursuant of
the rules of the Department of Fair Trading .
Do I need
to buy hardware or screws?- All hardware is
provided with the possible exception of screws. This is due to the fact that
differing screws are needed in differing applications. In most internal applications where you are fixing to wood,
a 25mm x 6g screw is appropriate. External wood fixing applications
a 40mm x 10g screw is appropriate. However, the exact length and type
of screw will vary depending on whether you are mounting your treatments into
drywall, wood, concrete or metal. As a result many companies do not send mounting
screws with your order. If you find no screws came with your order you will
need to purchase some. As a rule of thumb you can assume two screws per bracket
and 2 or 3 brackets per treatment.

Our total liability to
goods or services supplied under them, will be limited, at our election, to:
