After 24 hours of receipt all responsibility for the care of the goods reverts to the client.

 

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO:
a. Make a written note on the consignment note of any obvious external damage to the  goods ore its packaging.
b. Take photos (preferably digital) of the damage. Photos should clearly show damage. Include photos as follows:
   i. Clear shots of the damage. Include a close up and a long view of the full item.
   ii. Shot of the packaging if it is also damaged.
b. Lodge initial claim form within 48 hours or at the latest the end of the next working day after the goods have arrived. Claim form can be download from www.decorama.com.au
