  Q&A 10001
How do I re-tension spring on fabric awning
A 1.  Engage pawl on motor end of roller with the awning half way dawn. You may need to use a bent piece of a wire paper clip of a slender screw driver to do this.
  2.  Lift roller out of the brackets. Careful not to dislodge pawl.
     a. To increase tension - Roll fabric onto roller.
     b. To Decrease tension - Roll fabric off roller.
  3.  Replace roller into brackets.
  4.  Test tension - Repeat the above to adjust.

CORRECT TENSION IS WHEN THE BLIND JUST ROLLS ALL THE WAY UP WITHOUT YOU HELPING IT UP.

  5. Ensure the engaging notch is towards the bottom of the roller when the tension is finally adjusted.
